OK, so your alone another night, up late hearing the rumbles of thunder and you ask yourself.......

"Are all my fishnets torn?"

We all do this.

Then you step  outside in the humid ashen air and watch for lightning to sliver across the sky.

Then you ask yourself......

"Do I really need a giraffe in my house?" I mean after all... I had to cut a hole in my roof to accommodate her neck.

And then........ a river returns to itself and you head to the fridg.

Today is February 9, 2014
On the 11th I am having surgery.
Have to have a benign cyst removed from my skull. Awful shit!
Scared to death.

This is utterly consuming me at the moment, for the 1 1/2 people who read this.
Staving off the crazy men who pursue me.

I want to wake up from the anesthetic alive.

Say a prayer for me, or dance naked round the fire, just send positive vibes my way.

Then when I am well - for god-sakes photograph me, am in need of a good creative wicked throw down photo shoot that lasts a week with great locations....

Ok - for those 1 1/2 who actually read this:

August 16 th 2013 - I had a freak accident IN MY HOME.
Went to sit down on one of my retro '50's kitchen set chairs...
and it collapsed underneath me throwing me to the floor -
The screws dragging across my thighs cutting me up.
This all took place in about a second.

I lay there bleeding, and badly injured.
crawled outside finally and found someone to help me,
I was ambulanced to the hospital, on a flat board.

The injury turned out to be a sprain from the top of my neck to below my tush.
This includes - torn muscles, torn ligaments plus a tetnus shot because of the jagged cuts I got on my inner thighs.

Well - it is at least a 4 month recovery, and I am currently in physical therapy.
The pain indescribable. My Dr. prescribed me pain meds I could inject myself.
Wow that 1 1/2 " needle took some courage to jab into my leg. But the pain relief - oh yes! Recovery is a very slow process, and I am lonely frustrated and pretty down, as my life is limited to watching movies creeping slowly - in walks outside, and using - yes those scooter chairs in every store that has one.

I have run people over, backed into display shelves, and over-all wished like hell that these turtle-mobiles had mini-Harley engines, so I could really cause some damage.
I am damaged. Yes, I welcome all pity and sympathy and gifts and money and candy and shopping trips you can send my way...<what?>... ;)
I think I am getting close to setting a worlds record for # of movies viewed since August 16.   :(

On Friday June 14 - my daughter and I saw "The Adams Family" at the  very oppulent Fox Theater in Detroit.

I grew up seeing the original show: Lurch, Morticia, Gomez, Thing, Pugsly, Wednesday,
Cousin "IT", and Grandma, oh lets not forget Uncle Fester.

This was a totally hilarious funny musical show that just had us in gales of laughter!
We get the cheap seats to the side - then creep up and snare the seats just feet from the stage.

In my estimation TRDN - my daughter and I ARE the Adams family and we embrace it fully.

Please take the time to view this one of a kind take your breath away theater in Detroit,
As Lurch would say "uuuuuuuuuggggggggggg"

Had an absolutely amazing time with Lynda :iconsecondbest2: and her faithful husband and photographer Dave, :icondavehare: ---- shooting in sub-zero temps at my secret locations, as I am a triple agent with the, well if I told ya I'd have to smear ya with oh, hmmm  then toss you to the... but only if you ask nicely.  :)

Yes about that week, it was a stranger-danger riot! We worked hard, and had a blast - no the kind that doesn't explode, just great fun.

Ms. Lynda is one of the best and free-spirited no holds barred, mad as a hatter models and all around great human beings I've worked with. Yes, stay tuned as we get around to posting from our huge collection, entirely shot by the ever patient :icondavehare:..... top-shelf as well. If we could only get him to stop rambling on so.... ;)

In regards to American Coffee vs. English brew and so forth. It's not my fault! I don't even drink the stuff! I do apologize on behalf of my country for not even having a descent cup for my English friends.

God help the civilized world, as I found a kindred spirit in this dynamic duo, and brace yourself England - I intend to visit .... 2 B announced....

This is what makes my tassles spin, and the whole world grin! The joy of BEING the art, and

"pushing the bounds of reality...."  ~Jim Morrison~

xoxoxo for a splendid week with my two cohorts,        :ahoy:

Enjoy the shots as they are posted!
